Mott Family Farm

This small diverse family run farm in Guernsey County.

They grow heirloom and specialty fruits and vegetables.

Soil building through compost from on -farm animals, cover crops and permanent mulch beds is the secret to nutrient dense and delicious foods.

The farm sells at the Guernsey County Farmers Market on Fridays and Rivercity Farmers Market (Marietta) on Saturdays. They also sell to restaurants and through a CSA program where the customers buy a share of the farm at the beginning of the growing season and then receive weekly boxes of fresh produce .

The Mott Family Farm is Certified Naturally Grown; grassroots movement of small farms completely committed to organic growing but are not willing to play the unfair USDA game to be Certified Organic.

The family is working for countryside renewal and wants to train a new generation of young people to be passionate stewards of Gods creation.
